ADDING A LINK WITH TEXT Like this:  Click Here   (its a fake link)
You can just paste your url into the chat box and it makes it a link. However some can be really long and messy. If you want to get a bit fancier and cleaner do the following.

Rather than adding a long URL for a link you can make any text link to a file if you want. Here is the code. Just paste your link no matter how long, after the url= sign and close it with a ]  then where it says CLICK HERE you can type whatever you want for your link text... but click here works well. Then close it with the [/url]

EXAMPLE OF TEXT LINK CODE:        [url=http://www.linkgoeshere.com] CLICK HERE [/url]

To UNDERLINE your link so its more apparent its a link you have to add the under line tag. [u] TEXT [/u}

EXAMPLE OF TEXT LINK UNDERLINED : [url=http://www.linkgoeshere.com] [u] CLICK HERE [/u] [/url]

OTHER ADDITIONS: You can even change the color of your text link by using the tags below. But be careful. You have to have an opening tag before the work and a closing tag after it. Make sure you keep them in order!

TEXT EFFECTS BELOW

BOLD
To bold part of your text you place a [b] in front of and [/b] after the text you want bolded.
EXAMPLE: Mesa High is the [b] best school [/b] ever!
LOOKS LIKE: Mesa high is the best school ever!

ITALICS
To italicize part of your text you place a [i] in front of and [/i/ after the text you want italcized.
EXAMPLE: Mesa High is the [i] best school [/i] ever!
LOOKS LIKE: Mesa high is the best school ever!

UNDERLINE
To underline part of your text you place a [u] in front of and a [/u] after the text you want underlined.
EXAMPLE: Mesa high is the [u] best school [/u] ever!
LOOKS LIKE: Mesa high is the best school ever!

SCROLL
To make part of your text scroll:
Place a [scroll] in front of and a [/scroll} after the text you want to scroll.

COLORS
To change the color of text place a [color=red] in front of and a [/color] behind the text you want colored.  Change the color name to whatever you want, but try to use basic color names.
EXAMPLE: Mesa high is the [color=blue] best school [/color] ever!
LOOKS LIKE: Mesa high is the best school ever!

BIG
To change the size of text place a [b] in front of and a [/b] behind the text you want colored.  Change the color name to whatever you want, but try to use basic color names.
EXAMPLE: Mesa high is the [big] best school [/big] ever!

MIX AND MATCH
You can use some or all codes on text. Just make sure you have the front and back part for each one around the text.
